The series of events entitled “Concrete Spring” aimed to showcase the architectural possibilities inherent in concrete, and the extraordinary diversity that can manifest while shaping this material. The overture of the event was a Symposia, concentrating on construction and design aspects of visible concrete with the participation of well-known artists and architects. During the urban walk particpants could observe the visible concrete net structure of the twin-stations of Metro 4 designed by sporaarchitects. Another walk visited the imposing concerete structure of the water tower building of Budafok. Film screenings, Pecha Kucha night and an exhibion shocasing the works of Tadao Ando, Zaha Hadid, Alvaro Siza, Ben van Berkel were also part of the program.
