As a graduate of Art History (BA) at ELTE, Barbara started volunteering for Budapest100 in 2013, and was appointed as Research Coordinator in 2016. Meanwhile, she also worked at the Budapest History Museum (marketing & communication, exhibition project management), and became a full-time member of KÉK in 2022. Her main field of interest is the relationship between social changes and architecture in the 19th-20th century. She believes that a micro historical approach in researching the history of buildings (including their residents) provides a better understanding and a greater sense of belonging to the city we live in.
