Laura Kovács

She graduated from the Hungarian University of Agricultural and Life Sciences (former SZIE) with a master's degree in urban systems engineering and an undergraduate degree in landscape management and garden design. She has been participating in bottom-up urban development projects since 2017. In Rotterdam in 2019, as an intern at Stipo and Placemaking Europe, she had the opportunity to gain even more experience on the subject. She has been part of the KÉK team since 2020, where she started working on the Csepel Works - Weekend of Open Factories and DANUrB+ programs as a project coordinator, and from 2021 she has already organized projects through the International Cooperation Working Group. In addition to the general population, it is a matter of the heart to involve children in urban development, as the most effective way to start shaping attitudes is with them. In addition, she sees great potential in data-driven urban development and is particularly interested in data visualization as a channel for professional-public communication.
