The Hungarian Contemporary Architecture Centre as a professional partner of the Municipality of the 11th district, Újbuda, Budapest helps to prepare the new Settlement Development Concept of the district. The work reviewed and moderated by KÉK is done by Budapest Főváros Városépítási Tervező Kft, we ensure that the interests of Újbuda and the topics important at a civil-professional level are met at all times when creating the new Concept.
Architect, urban scholar, he got an MSc in Architecture degree in 2003 with diploma price and a PhD degree in 2015 at Budapest University of Technology and Economics. He is teaching and doing research at the department of Urban Planning and Design at BME, where he defended his PhD dissertation entitled: Pedestrian space usage of tourist-historic cities – comparing the tourist space systems of Vienna and Prague to Budapest”. He is activist in architectural NGOs since 2000, organising conferences, workshops and social events in the memo association until 2006, and in KÉK since then. He also runs his architecture studio, involved in works from building design to tourism development concepts, participating in exhibitions and competitions.
Communication manager, Curator. She graduated in Communication and Public Relations, then in Art and Design Management master’s degree. As extracurricular activities she has invested her time in the Cultural Sector and Media. Not only does she promote Contemporary Art, but she transmits insight regarding it’s functions on an individual and social level. She has joined KÉK during the spring of 2020 as a volunteer, after that she has become the communication manager of the organization. Today she is the “voice” of KÉK, and the curator of the KÉK’s gallery and coworking space, also she is the project manager of Open! Festival.
